Spectrometer design and construction

For ultra-wideband excitation, we employ a fast arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) with sampling rate up to 12GS/s and analog bandwidth up to 5 GHz. Using frequency translation techniques we can inject shaped microwave pulses into our Bruker Elexsys spectrometers. For ultimate customization in pulse sequence design, we built an entire spectrometer controlled by the AWG.
